HERBS TO IMPROVE MEMORY
Does it sound bizarre? Using herbs to improve memory have long been practiced not only by those in the United States, but in other countries as well. The American Indians, Orientals, Egyptians, and Greeks have all used herbs to enhance the mind.
Spicy foods are said to increase the cognitive functions of your brain, and there are several spicy herbs available
Have you ever heard of turmeric? Maybe curry? Well, turmeric is an ingredient in curry. Curcumin is an ingredient in turmeric, which in turn works to improve your memory. It reduces the effects of diseases like Alzheimer's disease. Ginger is another herb, containing zingerone, which defends the neurons of the brain to improve memory. Cinnamon is a brain activity booster; simply smelling it enhances cognitive function and lifts the mood. All these wonderful spices can be found in your local grocery store, usually on the isle with the basic cooking ingredients such as flour and sugar.

Health food stores abound in the United States. They've become more popular for the youth of today alone. Health food stores can also benefit adult shoppers. They offer things like ginkgo biloba, touted as the best herb to improve blood flow to the brain. Suggested use is 80 mg, 3 times a day.

Another herb found in health food stores which increases memory and guards against senility is gotu kola. It has a calming effect. Suggested use is 1/2 teaspoon in warm water 3 times a day.

Siberian Ginseng can help the body adapt to stress, helps promote a strong, balanced nervous system, and gives a mild energy boost. Suggested use is 250 mg, 2 times a day.

Before partaking in the benefits of any of these suggested herbs, please do your research and make sure they won't have a negative interaction with any medications you are currently taking. The idea is to improve your memory, not further damage your health in another way.

Herbs don't just serve to improve your memory by oral ingestion. A popular way to stimulate your brain these days is by aromatherapy. Some herbs can be heated in either water or as an ingredient in a candle, maybe even as an ingredient for use with a potpourri burner placed on a cloth as an essential oil to inhale, or simply burned as incense. Aromatherapy can be done as a low-cost addition to your steps towards good mental health. It clears the mind, helps you relax, sharpens your ability to focus, and improves your mood. Two essential oils to use in aromatherapy to help improve memory are rosemary and basil. Although, anything that is pleasant to your nose will help you calm your thinking so that you can focus more clearly and feel uplifted in spirit.

An important thing to consider is whether you would rather slow down your lifestyle now and begin to take proper care of your mind and body, or whether you'd rather suffer more later as you've aged and have more trouble undoing the effects of your neglect. It's never too late to adapt a positive outlook and take charge of yourself! for more information visit http://www.usefulmemoryimprovementguide.com

There are a host of supplements for memory improvement on the market!  This can be both a good and a bad thing for the consumer as there are so many options to choose from, however with more options comes the increased likely hood of bogus or weak products.

Here are some good general tips when looking at supplements as well as some products that adhere to these high standards:

Who manufacturers the products? Do they have an address and a phone number on the product and on the website? You'd be surprised to find out how many companies do not contain this information effectively making it very difficult to contact the them regarding complaints of refunds. Also, what other products do they make? Does the company Focus and pride themselves on these kind of supplements or do they make a little bit of everything (Jack of all Trades)?

Do they have a Guarantee or Return Policy? Is the process straight forward and displayed on their website? Guarantees and Return Policies show a company is willing to stand by their product as they believe it works. I rank this high on things to look for when looking at supplements. More so, make sure the policy is clearly visible as some products will say MONEY BACK GUARANTEE yet the actually policy is tucked away in small print at the bottom of the page and requires the customer to jump through hoops - make sure this isn't the case!

What is in the product? Of course you want to know what you are taking so make sure to read the ingredient list and even google the ingredients. Also look into ingredient quality as it is one thing to take a certain amount on X, but another to make sure it is actually effective and being UTILIZED by your body. Products that are made from higher quality ingredients often pride themselves as such on their websites or product packaging. Also, if you are concerned about this kind of stuff, you may care to look out for excessive amounts of food coloring or chemical additives. These are often added to make the product appealing and do nothing for how effective it is.

Read Reviews. Google for reviews before hand and see what people are saying and whether or not it worked for them. Often you'll get Mixed reviews as no supplements work for everyone 100% of the time, however by reading and seeing a handful you can get an overall idea if it is worth a try or to stay clear and look into something else.

As for supplements for memory improvement - looking as to what is available online via Google, Yahoo, and MSN searches I came across Focus Fast: http://www.focusfast.com/

Formula and Quality Control:

How it Works:

Money back Guarantee:

There is also an abundance of positive reviews online for this one and many mention the amount of ingredients in the products, value, and efficacy.

There were several other products that came up during these searches including Focus Factor, Constant Focus, and Focus Formula. It may interest you to take a look into these as well and compare before purchasing any which one.
